Interested organizations can contact Detroit PAL here to coordinate a volunteer event or discuss other ways to get involved. | Aon Cleans Up Jayne Field |
 In July 2010 Detroit PAL continued its commitment to improve and beautify parks by partnering with Aon. Our friends at Aon spent a hot afternoon painting, weeding, cutting down large bushes and picking up trash along side PAL staff.
Thanks to our corporate partners at Aon, Jayne Field's con session building, bleachers, light stands and drinking fountains are sparkling with new paint. The large parking lot is also free of unsightly weeds and dangerous glass. These improvements will benefit the whole community as well as the hundreds of Detroit PAL kids who play baseball and softball on Jayne's diamonds each summer. Thank you Aon! |

Foley & Lardner Transform Jayne Field |
 On June 30, 2010 a group of attorneys from Foley & Lardner, LLP partnered with Detroit PAL and spent the day improving baseball diamonds where hundreds of kids play each day!
The group of volunteers removed bushes, weeds and garbage that had collected at Jayne Field. The group proceeded to beautify the park with the painting of the bleachers and dugouts. The work of this group will impact the 1,200 baseball and softball kids in Detroit PAL's leagues. Thank you Foley & Lardner! |
