Our Partners

The impact we have made in the Detroit community is due in large part to the partnerships and relationships we have built.

Athletics Volunteers
Think Detroit PAL relies on volunteers to help with all aspects of our athletic leagues. Volunteers serve as coaches and team managers, dedicating many hours to the development of Detroit youth.

Avalon International Breads, Inc. provides support for Think Detroit PAL's Fund Devlopment department and special events.
CERB Associates CERB Associates provides public relations and brand image consulting for Think Detroit PAL.

Compuware has been a long-time sponsor of Think Detroit PAL's Girls' Basketball Leagues.

DaimlerChrysler is a major sponsor of the Paul W. Smith Golf Outing benefiting Think Detroit PAL's programs.

The Chrysler Foundation The Chrysler Foundation generously supports our summer camp programs.
Detroit Auto Dealers Association The Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) hosts the North American International Auto Show Charity Preview, with proceeds providing a large amount of funding for our operations.





The Detroit Lions and Detroit Lions Charities sponsor our Flag and Contact Football Leagues. Additonally, the Detroit Lions host fundraising and marketing opportunities that support Think Detroit PAL volunteers and participants.



Detroit Police Department Think Detroit PAL works with the Detroit Police Department to provide athletic, academic, and leadership development programs.




The Detroit Tigers host fundraising and marketing opportunities that support our sports leagues and field renovation efforts.

 

Dick's Sporting Goods supplies equipment for our coaches throughout the year and is a supporter of out Coaches Training Program.   



Ford Motor Company is a major sponsor of the Paul W. Smith Golf Outing and other special events.

General Motors has been a long-time corporate sponsor of Think Detroit PAL's youth sports and leadership programs. They are also a major sponsor of the Paul W. Smith Golf Outing and other special events.

Great Lakes Capital Fund (GLCF) has made a multi-year sponsorship commitment to support Think Detroit PAL's efforts to increase participation of children in GCLF communities.


The Kellogg Foundation made a multi-year grant to expand the athletic leagues.

The McGregor Fund has made a significant contribution to help develop and implement our coach certification program.

Paul W. Smith and WJR organize our annual Paul W. Smith Golf Outing to raise money for our programs.






Rock Financial is the sponsor of the 2006 Boys' Basketball leagues.
The Skillman Foundation provided the funding to improve Think Detroit PAL's individual donor base, and to expand programming to more under-served areas of the city.

The Thompson Foundation has made a generous contribution to fund our leadership training program.




Total Health Care is the sponsor of our 2006 t-ball and softball programs.
The United States Soccer Foundation (USSF) has made substantial monetary and equipment contributions to the soccer program since 1999, including helping with the renovation of Maheras-Gentry Park.

Wayne State University Athletics partners with Think Detroit PAL to provide unique opportunites for our coahces and particpants.
WWJ supports the awareness of Think Detroit PAL through its hourly announcements, on-air donation drives, and in-kind support.
